A working model of the left heart draws the Wiggers diagram and the pressure-volume loop live, with valves that open and close from the pressures instead of being scripted. Change preload, afterload, contractility or heart rate and the loop moves the way physiology says it should, including the Frank-Starling effect, with stroke volume, ejection fraction and cardiac output calculated for you. It sits alongside the 3D beating-heart app, and its depth levels run from a simple pump picture to the elastance equations.
