Animation can be an overwhelming process to learn, even with a user-friendly piece of software like Anime Studio. VTC is here to help! In this course, you will learn how to plan, design, and animate a cartoon. Starting with the very basics, author Chad Troftgruben will teach you how to outline, script, and storyboard your story. Next, he will demonstrate Anime Studio's basic tools and features, building your foundation for more advanced works. Finally, you will dive into the creation process by drawing characters and scenes, rigging bone structures, setting camera positions, incorporating dialog, animating sequences, and editing it all together. By the time you complete this course, you will be ready to finish the story we have started and even create your own original works! To begin learning today, simply click on the movie links.
Hi, guys. My name is Chad Troftgruben and I would like to welcome to you to my Anime Studio Pro 9 tutorial series. So what will be learning in this series? Well first we will outline all of the major tools and features in Anime Studio. So that way you have a clear grasp on how to use the software before we dive into the more advanced techniques. You will also learn how to script, outline and storyboard a cartoon which is very important when starting a production. In fact it's just as important as the actual animation process. Once we get past those initial beginning stages we'll move into the actual cartoon creation process. From here we will from start to finish build a cartoon that will be animated out within three scenes and that will actually end in a cliffhanger. And the reason why I'm doing this because I want you to create an ending for this cartoon. I believe that by giving you the basic building blocks, you'll get the foundation you need to use Anime Studio. And I'll give you tips on how to design your characters, your scenes, how to animate things out and so on. But ultimately I want this to be your story and I want you to be able to take the two characters that we'll be animating and expand upon it. Create your own unique twist on it and then finish the story in your own way. I'm hoping that by the time you are done with this series you'll have a strong foundation in creating cartoons and Anime Studio. You'll know how to draw the characters, you'll know to how set up the scenes, you'll know how to map out the bones and all that stuff. And I will be teaching this series using a Windows 7 environment. So at times I will be using shortcut keys and I may say please hold down the Control key and hit C for Copy. Now if you're on a Mac, everything I'm showing you will be exactly the same except for those shortcut keys, they're maybe some differences. For instance Control should be substituted with Command on the Mac. And those are just some very basic hurdles you'll have to overcome if you are using a different operating system. But overall, this should be a very universal course. If you have Anime Studio Pro 9, you should be set. This course will work somewhat with 8 but I do recommend you have 9. And with all that said I hope you enjoy series and let's get started.
