(SFX) Hello and welcome to this course on how to use Autodesk Sketchbook Pro 6 for the desktop, that will be the Mac and the Windows PC platforms, as well as your portable device, i.e. your iPad or your Android. And as long as Sketchbook is available on your device you should be good to go. This application is for people who love to draw, to sketch, to create characters, product designs cartoons, anything. You can even paint in this application which I don't think a lot of people are aware of. You can digital painting and we commonly think about Corel Painter or Photoshop for those tasks but there are some really sweet some brushes in this version. We have some synthetic brushes. You have smudge brush. You have all kinds of really good tools. You even have some Copic Libraries in here. You have Illustration and Design. So don't worry you're really in good hands here. You also have a wide range of tools that make your drawing and sketching tasks a lot easier, from rulers to French curves to the ability to draw in symmetry mode and more. So I'm going to show you guys how to use this application to create all kinds of cool stuff. We're going to create in this course. One of the projects will be a mouse just a sketch for a product design for a wireless mouse. We're going to create an illustration of a paladin. Right. So we're going to you know start off with a sketch that we're going to create and don't worry I will provide it for you if you don't want to draw a cartoon. My cartoon is pretty much my speciality so I'll have this ink version for you guys inside of the Work Files folder. So you can do all kinds of cool stuff with this application and if you really spend a lot of time with it like a couple of hours, you know you can create paintings. So here is an example of one of my paintings here of Palpatine from Star Wars. Alright. So I really love to create all kinds of cool stuff in here from cartoons all the way up. Even stuff like this Orc chief here. So I, I really do love the application. It's a very light application on it's feet as far as RAM usage. It loads fast and the interface gets out of your way. The only reason you see all of this stuff here in front of you is because I'm recording on a resolution much smaller than I typically work. So when I'm working I rarely see these tools. But of course I can hit the Tab key to get rid of them if I don't want to see them. So let's go ahead guys and get ready to learn how to use Sketchbook Pro. I'm going to show you how to create your own custom brushes. How to import, export brushes. How to use all these tools and much, much more. So fire up your Android device, your iPad or your desktop version and let's go ahead and learn.
