Welcome to the Virtual Training Company's interactive computer based training for Macromedia Fireworks MX. My name is Scott Doucet, and I'll be your guide as we explore the features and capabilities of this production software application. I have been using Fireworks since version 1. And MX represents the latest offering from Macromedia, incorporating many of the terrific time saving features of the MX family. Fireworks has been designed to help web designers and developers create engaging, attractive and functional web sites. In the shortest time possible. Fireworks can import, create and export a wide variety of file formats making it an ideal production tool. Although designed for web development, I also used Fireworks for many CD-ROM, Kiosk and other applications. Macromedia has really focused on creating an application that both designers and programmers can feel right at home. And I am sure you will agree after seeing this program in action. These movies were created on a PC system, so when I mention the Alt key command just think of option, so let's begin.
