Welcome everyone to a Virtual Training Company presentation. From planning to designing to going live, FrontPage 2002 will provide you with all the tools that are necessary to create an attractive, fully-functioning web site. My name is Linda Young, and I will be your software trainer and host for this course on FrontPage 2002. In this course, you will learn to use the latest features of FrontPage 2002. This is accomplished through very informative tutorials that contain step-by-step instruction. These tutorials will be presented by a professional software trainer, which is myself, and I have used FrontPage 2002 to create many websites, and I am a very seasoned user of FrontPage having used FrontPage since version 98, or since the 98 version. In this course, you will learn basically 5 different sections, or the course is divided into five different sections, starting with how to built web pages, which will contain the basic information on how to get started working with FrontPage. Creating your very first web page, adding information to your web page etc. This section will cover chapters 1 through 8. The next section will be adding multi-media content such as graphics, banners, etc. This will be covered in chapters-1 through 14. The next section will be how to design websites. Once you've completed all your web pages, you will need to put them into a website. We will cover this in section number 3, and it will be covered in chapters 15 through 18. Once you've created your website, you will then need to publish it. This is known as web publishing. This will be covered in chapters 18 to 20. And finally in the last section, we will cover sort of odds and ends that we haven't covered throughout the course, such as getting help, and also a few other pieces of information. This course has been designed in a very logical order. Each chapter is divided into very logical sections, which is ideal for individual learning, or individualized learning. You are able to go at your own pace. This course is accompanied by a project which will start very early in the course, and the project will be to built a website. And I will walk you through the various steps, as we take our website and build it through each particular chapter. Let's now get started on our FrontPage 2002 adventure.
