Moodle is an open source, learning management system that can be customized to the fit the needs of educational systems or businesses. The platform allows teachers to create courses and personalized learning environments for students. Moodle can be used solely as a virtual learning system or it can be used as a supplement for traditional courses. Moodle is an extensive system, that can be used straight out of the box, or enhanced with plugins and customizations. This VTC course is designed to help administrators and teachers get started with Moodle. In this course students will learn Moodle terminology, how to set up a Moodle site, create courses and enroll users. Teachers will learn how to enhance their courses with activities and resources.
